What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding is keeping vulnerable adults, young people and children safe from exploitation or harm. Everyone has the right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

What is domestic violence?

Domestic violence or abuse is any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are, or have been, intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality.
