Drug dealing burglar and thief is evicted from FCHO home

A tenant who committed a catalogue of crimes over the last few years has been evicted from his FCHO home.

Robert Slicker, aged 49 of Cheltenham Street in Derker, was evicted from his home following his convictions at court and an subsequent investigation by our Community Legal team.

Slicker had been previously found guilty to a number of offences including producing with intent to supply Class A drugs, burglary and theft and was most recently dealt with by the courts for stealing charity boxes, including a poppy appeal box on Remembrance Sunday from shops in his local area.

Becki Walker, Community Legal Officer, said: “We never want to evict any of our tenants and we will always look to resolve issues before we take legal action, but we have to consider the interests and safety of the other residents and the wider community. Slicker is a prolific criminal who flouted the law and caused misery to his neighbours and we could not allow him to carry on living in one of our homes.”
