Our Alt neighbourhood

PRP have been working with FCHO on their vision for the regeneration of West Vale, which will create a contemporary new development right in the heart of Oldham, which provides a range of high quality, affordable homes in a vibrant neighbourhood where people and families can thrive. By working collaboratively, a bespoke community engagement virtual event was created, allowing local residents to raise their views, even during a lockdown and in advance of a detailed planning application being submitted in January.

We find the FCHO Development Team a pleasure to deal with. Their customer focussed approach to the design and delivery of new homes through community engagement and stakeholder involvement ensures the best possible outcome is achieved for their residents. We see this through good project management, communication and leadership to ensure project teams are focussed on delivery and local need.

Since January 2020 we have been working with First Choice Homes Oldham on delivering quality new homes for the people of Oldham. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic we have maintained good communication when most others in the sector stopped. Through collaborative working and learning to operate through lockdown, we have been able to deliver quality new homes.

We have worked with FCHO since 2016 and in that time have delivered a range of new developments, including houses, bungalows and apartments across a range of tenures. These have often been on very challenging brownfield sites, but by adopting a highly collaborative approach with the entire project team, together we have successfully identified solutions to deliver efficient and good value projects.
