Advice and support for customers applying for the Covid-19 self isolation payment

04/09/2020

We’re reminding customers who need to apply for the Covid-19 isolation payment that you must apply for it during your isolation period to qualify.

You will also be asked to produce bank statements, confirmation of your positive test or notification that you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive, and your National Insurance number to make your application.

Sarah Aldred, our Head of Income Collection says: “If you have been told by the NHS to self-isolate, either because you have tested positive for Covid-19 or you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, you may be entitled to some financial support during your self-isolation period.

“If you’re eligible for the payment, there is a very short timeframe to apply for it and it’s important that you apply for it while you are isolating and that you have all the documents you need.

“You can apply for the payment through the Oldham Council website and our teams are here to help you through the application process.”
